Following a highly successful pilot project delivered over the last 12 weeks in partnership with the Skateboard School and Sheffield International Venues I can highly recommend people take a look at what these guys have to offer! Staff are hardworking, reliable and committed to teaching skateboarding from the basics up to tricks and using ramps safely.
As well as delivery of Skateboarding lessons the staff are great to work with behind the scenes, planning and applying for funding to offer their services free of charge to the public.

I think that the session that my son attends on a Wednesday night is run really well. The coaches interact well with the children that attend and have a lot of patience. The holiday clubs are great value for money and a great day forthe children to attend. Lewis loves the school holidays for this reason. They recently had extra sessions on at the EIS and Concord Sports Centre which Lewis attended, and was able to adapt on his skills because there were either none or few ramps. I would highly recommend the Skateboard School for lessons etc.
Would love to see day trips during the holidays were they can try out different parks. As not always sure where to take them.

The Skateboard School attended our holiday camps during the summer holidays providing all necessary equipment and correct ratio of coaches who were very enthusiastic and professional at all times. Sessions delivered were fun, safe and engaging for all the children regardless of age and ability. We had over 100 children attend our camps during the summer and the feedback was very positive with most children rating skateboarding as their favourite activity. We have already booked The Skateboard School in for our next camp in October and would definitely recommend their services to other organisations.
My kids have attended sessions at various venues and particularly enjoyed the sessions at EIS and concord.
The coaching is really great and kids are encouraged to learn through having fun in a safe environment. Coaches are all fantastic and my kids really improved in confidence and skill over the sessions. They love being at Skateboard School and had a great summer at the holiday sessions at the House.
Would encourage everyone young and old to give skateboarding a try....it's awesome!
My son is seven and has additional needs that include some issues with concentration and coordination. He was introduced to skateboarding with a session at Archie Camp last summer and has been having weekly one to one lessons since the autumn. He is making great progress, really enjoying himself and his balance and core stability has clearly improved. He has a very unique and interesting approach to life and the coaches have completely embraced his very individual spirit and adapted their teaching methods to suit him week by week. I am incredibly impressed with the way they have treated him with kindness, understanding and humour and would recommend their sessions very highly. It continues to be a really rewarding part of my son's schedule.
The venue we use (The House) and the staff who work there have also been absolutely brilliant and friendly throughout, which I really value too.
